Die Moderatoren melden sich live von verschiedenen Locations – vom Roten Teppich bis zur Mittelloge – im Haus am Ring. Komplettiert wird das ORF-Opernballteam von den Kommentatoren Karl Hohenlohe und Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz.

Die Moderatorin trägt heuer eine eng anliegende bodenlange Abendrobe von Tom Ford aus schwerem Seidencrepe in Orangerot mit tiefem Rückendekolleté, eingefasst mit einem breiten goldenen Reißverschluss von Amicis.

Mirjam Weichselbraun: „Von den bisherigen Opernball-Kleidern ist dieses mein Liebstes. In erster Linie muss ich darin natürlich arbeiten können, das funktioniert schon mal. Es hat keine lange Schleppe, die abreißen kann und keine Korsage, die mir die Luft abschnürt. Ein Kleid muss bequem sein, aber eben auch sexy. Das ist dieses Kleid mit dem tiefen Rückenausschnitt auf jeden Fall. Zusätzlich finde ich die Farbe toll. Außerdem ist Tom Ford ein Designer, den ich mag, auch wenn ich selbst keine Teile von ihm im Schrank habe.“

Glänzende Akzente setzt der passende Schmuck – lange Diamantohrringe und ein Solitärring – der von Juwelier Wagner zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Die Schuhe stammen vom österreichischen Schuhhaus Wunderl.
