Jena. Nach zwei Unentschieden zum Auftakt setzte es bei den Amateuren des 1. FC Union Berlin, die erste Saisonniederlage. Die Zeiss-Kicker verloren am Freitagabend an der „Alten Försterei” vor 1.091 Zuschauern deutlich mit 1:3 (0:2).

Vier Minuten in der ersten Halbzeit reichten den Berlinern, um die Jenaer Spieler aus der Fassung zu bringen. Ein Doppelschlag von Union-II-Torjäger Tugay Uzan in der 29. und 33. Minute versetzte dem FCC in eine regelrechte Schockstarre.

Erst in der zweiten Spielhälfte keimte wieder etwas Hoffnung auf. Jenas Torjäger Velimir Jovanovic traf in 71. Minute zum Anschlusstreffer.

Ein Jenaer Spieler konnte sich auch noch in die Torschützenliste eintragen. Christoph Klippel köpfte in der 79. Minute ins eigene Tor und besiegelte somit die erste Niederlage der Saison.
